OVERVIEW:
Vitabyte is seeking a full-time POS Lead for our New York office. In this role you will own customer-facing POS operations: ensuring seamless purchase processing, leading point-of-sale associates, managing credit & equipment, and upholding service standards. You’ll act as a hands-on leader, resolving customer issues, supporting workflows, and communicating policy or system changes. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of relevant experience, and offers a competitive salary in the $133,000–$135,000 range.
REQUIREMENTS:
● Welcome customers and ensure that purchases are processed efficiently
● Rectify customer issues and direct the workflow of POS Associates
● Answer customer questions and attend to their requests promptly
● Process POS transactions accurately
● Manage “two-in-a-line” standard and support telephone or call-in support situations
● Acknowledge customers according to company guidelines
● Encourage customers to participate in service surveys and manage survey email outreach
● Lead by example: resolve issues arising from POS purchase transactions
● Oversee the care and functionality of POS equipment; address system problems swiftly
● Strengthen customer service standards in POS transaction processing
● Maintain presence on the floor to support POS Associates
● Inform POS Associates about any changes in policies or systems

Minimum Education Level : Bachelor’s Degree
